  • SCREEN the film in your classroom, library or company.

Screening Kits

Choose between our 73-minute feature-length version, or a 56-minute “classroom” version with a comprehensive discussion guide, and three community screening kit options.

DISCUSSION GUIDE

Created for classroom or community use with the help of educators and the Destiny Arts Center, this 21-page guide provides a variety of ways to explore the issues in the film and the opportunity to share personal stories & ideas, to discuss the film's themes, and to engage in movement exercises taught at the Destiny Arts Center.

Educational & Institutional Screenings

Want to screen the film at your school, university or library?

Classroom and campus screenings are an effective way to spark reflection and discussion among young people on issues like self-expression, trauma, self-empowerment, community, freedom, hope and more.

“My typically quiet and timid psychology class had a lot to talk about after viewing FREE. Young people everywhere would benefit from seeing the beauty that these artists forged through struggle. My students got it—there is always hope.”
— David Stephan, 11th grade psychology teacher, Oakland Charter School

“...FREE tells us that no matter the social or economic walls we face we can always overcome them and do some things for ourselves and make something out of ourselves.”
— M. Pablo, 11th grade
“I found the movie so empowering, educational and inspiring I chose to present it all the masters level university trainees I oversee. I encourage anyone working with children to see this movie.”
— Alicia Montgomery LCSW, Field Placement Coordinator, East Bay Agency for Children
